Important Notices
The webAlias software is accompanied by an on-line User's Guide. Choose Navigation -> Show Index to quickly move to different sections of the User's Guide. Please take a moment to review the installation instructions for webAlias which are included in the User's Guide.
The 1.0.2 release added the Author -> Resize Panels menu item to webAlias. Choose this option to manually set the width and height of the panels in the current project.
webAlias 1.1 receives a significant performance boost when running under Mac OS 8 and is now fully compatable with the latest operating system (unlike earlier versions of webAlias).
The 1.1 release adds two new capture and export options. In addition to being copied to the clipboard, images that are captured via the Camera Palette can now be saved as PICT files.
As well, a specific region of a panel (rather than the full panel) can now be exported as an image map. This allows a panel to be used as a workspace for designing multiple image maps. To export a specific region of a panel: 1) Choose the Selected Object option in the Export view of the Camera Palette; 2) Select the object to be exported; 3) Click on the Export button to save the selected region as an image map.
